SUMMARY:Scent Brief & Olfactive Anthology Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Every fragrance begins long before its formula: with an idea\, a memory\, a place or a story.\nIn this workshop\, EME ESE invites participants to discover the creative process behind the making of a signature scent and learn how an initial inspiration is translated into a professional scent brief. Using The Modernist’s signature scent as a case study\, participants will explore how memories\, places\, identity and emotion can become an olfactive direction.\nWorking with a curated selection of raw materials and aromatic references\, each participant will then create a personal olfactive anthology\, selecting materials that connect to their own roots\, memories\, culture and experiences.\nGuided by EME ESE\, they will use their anthology to develop the creative brief for their own imagined signature scent: its story\, mood\, olfactive direction and the notes they would want it to evoke.\nWhat’s included\nAll materials required to create a personal olfactive anthology\, a curated introduction to fragrance materials and step-by-step guidance through the scent-briefing process.\nWhat participants take home\nEach participant will leave with their own physical olfactive anthology and personal scent brief\, the creative starting point from which a signature fragrance could be developed.\nPlease note that this is a scent-design and creative direction workshop\, not a perfume-making workshop.
