Using dried and leftover flowers, collected in collaboration with local flower shop Abloom Athens, we will give botanical materials that would otherwise be discarded a second life, transforming their natural pigments, shapes, and textures into unique prints on natural fabrics. Participants will learn how to arrange and work with botanical materials directly on fabric, experimenting with composition, colour and the unexpected marks that each flower and plant can create. Each participant will choose to create their own one-of-a-kind piece: a silk bandana or a cotton tote bag.

No two results can ever be identical. Every flower leaves its own trace, making each finished piece a personal and completely unique botanical print. More than a textile workshop, this is an invitation to rethink materials that are often considered waste and discover how creativity, craftsmanship, and nature can come together through a more conscious approach to making. Each participant will create and take home their own naturally dyed piece, a 100% satin silk scarf 50 × 50cm. The colors and prints created through this process are permanent, making every piece a unique and wearable expression of nature.

The technique can also be applied to a wide range of natural fabrics, including cotton, linen, silk, and viscose.
